SMS Terms of Service

Terms for the Rexabook text-message (SMS) programmes: appointment messages and account verification codes.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Programme description

Rexabook is an online appointment-booking platform. Rexabook is operated by Mirrexa US LLC, whose registered address is at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Mirrexa US LLC operates this SMS programme.

Through this programme we send transactional, appointment-related text messages - confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations and, where the business uses card-on-file features, late-cancellation or no-show charge notices - to the customers of businesses that use Rexabook (such as barbers, salons, clinics and groomers). This programme is not used for marketing or promotional messages.

2. How you opt in

You opt in on the Rexabook booking page of the business you are booking with. When you enter your mobile number, you are shown this notice:

"We'll text you appointment updates from [business name] via Rexabook - booking confirmations, reminders, and changes. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms."

In the United States, consent is captured by an explicit checkbox, shown unticked and never pre-selected:

"Text me confirmations and reminders for this appointment. Reply STOP to opt out."

Ticking the box is optional and is not required to make a booking - if you leave it unticked the booking still completes and we notify you by email instead. Opt-in is captured through the web booking form only; there is no SMS keyword opt-in.

A separate, also-unticked checkbox covers optional marketing SMS ("Send me offers and reminders to rebook by SMS. Standard rates may apply."). That is a different programme and is never bundled with your appointment texts.

3. Messages you can expect

All messages relate to a specific appointment. The wording, business name and times vary by booking. Examples:

  • "Rexabook: Hi Jane, your appointment at Sheridan Barber Co is confirmed for Fri Jul 31, 1:45pm. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "Rexabook: Reminder - your appointment at Sheridan Barber Co is tomorrow at 1:45pm. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "Rexabook: Your appointment was cancelled. A late-cancellation fee may apply per the booking terms. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your bookings and appointment activity with the relevant business.

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Rexabook does not charge you for messages, but your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan.

6. Opt-out (STOP)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. We send a single confirmation and then stop sending messages to that number, unless you opt in again on a later booking:

"You are unsubscribed from Rexabook messages and will receive no more. Reply START to resubscribe."

7. Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email team@rexabook.com:

"Rexabook: For help contact team@rexabook.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

8. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on successful transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

9. Privacy

For details of how we handle mobile information for this programme, see our SMS Privacy Notice; for our general data practices see our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

10. Account verification codes (for businesses)

Separately from the appointment messages above, Mirrexa US LLC runs a second SMS programme for the businesses that use Rexabook: optional two-step verification codes that protect a business owner's Rexabook account. These messages are sent only to business owners who turn the feature on, never to their customers, and are never used for marketing.

Opt-in. A business owner opts in from Settings → Account → Two-step verification in their Rexabook dashboard by entering their mobile number and ticking an unticked consent box, shown with this text:

"I agree to receive sign-in verification codes by text message from Rexabook at this number. You'll get one text each time you sign in or change this setting. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We won't share your mobile number with third parties for marketing. See our SMS Privacy Notice and SMS Terms."

We then text a code to that number, and the feature only turns on once that code is entered back - so a number can't be enrolled without access to the phone.

Example message:

"Rexabook: your verification code is 482913. It expires in 5 minutes. Never share it. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

Frequency. One message each time the owner signs in, asks for a new code, or turns the feature on, off or to a new number. Cost, STOP, HELP, carriers and privacy: §5 to §9 above apply in the same way. Replying STOP stops verification codes to that number. Because sign-in needs a code while the feature is on, an owner who replies STOP can text START to the same number to receive codes again; alternatively, email us (§11) and, once we've confirmed it's them, we'll turn two-step verification off so they can sign in with their password or email link alone.
